Food and Wine are just made for each other. First thank you to @lloydcellars for sending this exceptional Pinot Noir. The aromatics on the nose are some of the best I have ever experienced! It paired wonderfully with the fresh cracked pepper from the @hexclad peppermill pepper and highlighted the dishes' flavors overall. When the wine and food are in harmony and both at the top of their game you are in for a treat. Not only was I excited to enjoy this fantastic pairing, but I am also excited to get to meet the Lloyd and HexClad teams at the @calwinefestThe Pinot Noir was paired with a @Spiceology rosemary dijon rubber pork chop and grilled over an open flame. As a side, I sauteed some fresh green beans in my HexClad pan, cooking the green beans with some black pepper bacon, and topping them with crispy shallots and Boursin cheese. The subtle smoke from the pork, the earthiness from the green beans, the fresh black pepper, and the creamy cheese balanced with the crispy shallots were just a perfectly balanced meal. Each bite is followed by a sip of this incredible wine.
