Wrapped up the work week with a bit of a treat after a long day. For lunch I made a Caesar salad, two heads of Romain hearts tossed in parmesan and @litehousefoods Caesar dressing with the last of the prok tenderloin diced up and tossed in. Since this was low protein I also had a bag of Simms dried beef, which is the Aldi version of style biltong. I also had a piece of string cheese. Dinner was a chicken breast served over a boursin cream orzo with sauteed spinach. My wife made this dinner and she did an amazing job. For my treat I had some whiskey on a large rock and made some low carb protein brownies. I used the @carbonautbaking brownie mix and added 3 scoops of chocolate protein powder. My Friday workout to close out the week was a simple one. I didn’t get as much done as I wanted but finished the 59 burpees and 50 squats with a 75 ln sand bag, as well as made it up and over the wall a few times. Then I finished the dumbbell snatches at 50lbs and the 50 calories on the c2 bike. I made it over to do a few deadlifts before running out of time . I got my daily miles in and will use the weekend for recovery again. One interesting note was I tested glucose and ketones out of curiosity yesterday and was at 1.6mmol for ketones, and 89mg for glucose, which is pretty deep ketosis.
