Burger, loaded salad and protein Dinner is this classic bacon cheeseburger. I grilled the burger over a @bearmountainbbq bold blend flame, with the bacon cooking on the rack above the burger. Dripping goodness on the beef patty below. A sesame seed bun sandwiches some iceberg lettuce, 1/3lb beef patty, Gouda cheese, @grillospickles pickles, home cured bacon a slice of tomato and some mustard. Lunch was a @yourtaylorfarms chopped salad topped with pecan smoked spicy tri tip and a bit of extra ranch. Snacks for the day were jerky sticks and a @questnutrition overload bar. Great workout to get those lungs going again after being sick. Not at 100% yet but making progress. A giant bowl of spaghetti and a steak sandwich should heal me Steak sandwich for lunch. Fresh sourdough, Cabot Vermont cheddar, spicy @bearmountainbbq pecan smoked tri-tip and a bit of ranch to cook things down. Paired with @questnutrition chips. Snack was a built bar puff. Dinner a giant bowl of spaghetti with a ground turkey meat sauce. Served with a garlic Parmesan toast. Made with a smoked garlic butter and Parmesan cheese. It’s awesome to use that bear mountain smoke to give the garlic extra flavor and using a fruit wood brings out all the sweetness of the garlic, I do this in big batches and then freeze them! #protein #health #recovery #bearmountainbbq #steaksandwich #spagetti

Steak salad and buffalo chicken zucchini boats @yourtaylorfarms elote salad with @bearmountainbbq pecan smoked tri tip Brushed with @pepperexchange Aji Amarillo and an extra drizzle of @litehousefoods ranch. The tritip is amazingly smokey but brutally spicy. That Aji Amarillo glazed exterior packs more of a punch than I thought! Dinner was crock pot chicken cooked with @franksredhot and @spiceology back and blue seasoning with a bit of butter. Finished with some cream cheese. It was loaded into zucchini and topped with cheese before being baked at 400 for about 20 minutes. Afternoon snack was some leftover meatballs and dessert was a @questnutrition bar! I got my steps and workout in yesterday but got sick, I knew I was fighting something yesterday am, but the cold won today… So no Friday workout and trying to drink a ton of liquid and recover. #bearmountainbbq #salad #steaksalad #fitfoodie

Turkey meatballs and broccoli, leftover soup and extra protein Dinner was meatballs and broccoli. The meatballs were ground turkey based and baked, then dipped in a buffalo and brown sugar based glaze, and baked some more to set the glaze. Served with broccoli and garnished with green onion and sesame seeds. Lunch was leftover soup. Post workout was my @questnutrition bar and post lunch snack was a @builtbar puff. Solid sleep score, steps on point, good workout and overall getting back on track with weight approaching pre vacation levels already.

Ranch Chicken soup. Spam and eggs, and snacks! Dinner was this amazing soup my wife made with onions, potato, chicken. Carrots, cream and ranch seasoning. I topped mine with a little hot sauce. Lunch was my lone musubi leftover with two eggs. Otherwise it was a snack day. With biltong, protein bars and pretzels, and some PB cups. Back on Track with Musubi and a protein focus My post workout @questnutrition overloaded bar kick-started me back into my food routine. Lunch followed up the bar and was some @realgoodfoods chicken tenders with a drizzle of @kindersflavors buttery buffalo. Dinner was some gochujang @spambrand spam musubi with sauteed broccoli on the side. I marinated the spam in @trybachans and brushed the rice with just a touch more of the sauce for maximum flavor. I got my workout in and hit my steps goal for the day both helping me get back on track. Sleep score is getting back on track as well. #focused #protein #backonthatgrind

Time to put my workouts on overload! After a week away celebrating turning 40 it’s time to get my workouts and nutrition back on track. I got my 4 miles of walking and 45 minutes workout done then, thanks to the NEW Quest Overload Bars I can hit my protein macros and enjoy a post workout treat!
