Smoked Turkey Cheese Burger

Equipment

  • Smoker
  • Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon White Bulls BBQ Bird Gang
  • 1 Tablespoon Panko
  • 2 Teaspoons worcestershire
  • 1/2 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1/4 pound cheddar cheese shredded fine

Instructions

Prep

  • Combine Ground Turkey, worcestershire, Bird Gang and Panko in a bowl, mixing gently. Do not over mix or compact the meat.
  • Split mixture into two portions
  • form each portion into a lose ball and place on parchment paper
  • Press down gently to form a patty roughly the same diamater as your bun.

The Smoke

  • Preheat the smoker to 225
  • Place patties carfully on the grill
  • Smoke at 225 for about 45 minutes before flipping the burger patty
  • Smoke till desired temprature/doneness. I am for around 175

The Cheese

  • Preheat a griddle or non stick pan over medium heat
  • sprinkle cheese directly over the pan forming a sircile just larger then your burger patty
  • As the cheese begins to bubble, place the burger patty over the cheese
  • You will know its done as you get larger bubbles around the edges or can smell that grilled cheese smell.

Assembly

  • Assemple with your favorite toppings
  • Pictured includes, Tomato, Avacado, bacon, and pickles.
